Generate scientific reports from your BIOS discoveries.

BIOS can generate a formatted scientific report from your deep research sessions.

When It's Available

Report generation becomes available when your research session has:

  • At least 3 completed iterations
  • Discoveries identified during the research process

Discoveries are novel findings that BIOS flags as potentially significant contributions. These are extracted and synthesized into a structured report.

How to Generate

  1. Complete a deep research session with 3+ iterations
  2. Click the report icon in the top right of the interface
  3. BIOS generates the report using the conversation state—findings, hypotheses, and discoveries
  4. The content is converted to LaTeX and rendered as a PDF

What's Included

The generated report includes:

  • Abstract - Summary of the research question and key findings
  • Introduction - Background and motivation
  • Methods - Description of the research approach
  • Results - Key discoveries and supporting evidence
  • Discussion - Interpretation and implications
  • References - Citations from literature searches

Tips

  • More iterations generally produce richer reports with more comprehensive findings
  • Review and edit the generated report—it's a starting point, not a final draft
  • The report reflects the quality of your research session, so use specific queries and guide the research toward meaningful discoveries
